But we still love the sparky little Heroin skateboards who proudly boast that there new range of decks sporting “their worst graphics yet!’ But that’s fine as in the past they have had young James Jarvis kitting them out graphic wise so they don’t have to prove anything!

Plus with street rats like Chris Pulman and Howard Cooke on the team list this little company could become quite addictive (addictive + heroin… see what we did there! Yes very droll).

One of the hottest skate companies around Zoo York and the mighty Stones Throw records will be offering Lord Quas decks online soon. They are just waiting for Madlib to sign them then the bidding can start!

This is one deck you don’t wanna be messing up skating handrails! So if you are thinking of buying make sure you keep it somewhere safe.

Ryan McGuigan from the Modern Love video fame (among other projects), has decided to re-release the previous 5 Green Apple videos which will include the Modern Love video along with his new production for a 2disc DVD box set.

This is scheduled to be ready for a November 2007 release. Be sure to pick it up when it hits the shelves, because you never know how many copies have been printed or when you might be able to get your hands on these classic Canadian skate videos again.

Lettus Bee, a comic character in Wrench Pilot, which was published in various skateboard magazines and has a cult following.

Lettus is capable of some hotshot skating tricks which occasionally come accompanied with some rather scary falls as you can see here.

The Lettus Bee figure is limited to 500 pieces and retails for $100, measuring 10″ wide by 9″ tall.

And if you’re more into fashion and being a hipster then you’d be still interested. The skateboarding world always goes through trends as far as what style is cool, what board to ride or what colors to wear in both - fall/winter and spring/summer seasons.

You can see it all at Kriwol’s pics. And even if you’re neither a skateboarder, skateboarding photographer or hipster wannabe you will enjoy his work - these photos are simply awesome.

As the skate photography guru Scott Pommier says - “When you shoot skateboarding, you have to deal with a huge variety of conditions”. Skateboarders are going to try their 360 flip nosegrind whether the sun’s shining on the rail or not. The Photographer has to make the stuff look good no matter what.” And Kriwol certainly excels on this point.

He’s captures exceedingly difficult maneuvers performed by top-level skateboard all-stars, or others riding low and fast and free. Competitions, exhibitions, freestyle, downhill, offbeat, and inventive or urban desert pipe session images, everything’s here.

So keep an eye on Kriwol and his natural way of combining his love of skateboarding and photography into one.
