Microsoft’s rival to the Ipod is due for release Zune is the name of the project, the brand, and the device.

And the anticipated ‘launch’ of the first Zune device is scheduled for this month.

The Zune will encapsulate Wi-Fi and be hard drive based. Music will be used to market and launch the device and in the near future connectivity between devices and community will be the big push.

We like it, its different, it’s a competitor and competition is good for the market place. Regardless of the weight, or prevailing dominance of that competitor.

Let’s not have anybody resting on their fat behinds for too long. Chop chop Apple!

HITplayer is software that is independent of terminal devices and user interfaces. The software can be downloaded to the mobile phones by their users. This is new player is capable of turning any older phone with a colour screen and a memory card into a media vessel.

The HITplayer software operates in mobile devices as a jukebox-like unit, which plays music content, or it can alternatively be used for watching videos. The 64 MB memory card can store as many as 60 high-quality musical compositions, for example, or 10 real music videos. We believe that, in the near future, almost every mobile device will incorporate the HITplayer software.
