The SticksEnjoyMunk
MUNK ONE a.k.a. Jose A. Mercado is a contemporary American Illustrator and Fine artist. He is most noted for creating Artwork for bands such as Aerosmith, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, The Generators and many more who’s merchandise can be seen through out the world.
Munk’s Art ranges from political to fun and bright to dark and grotesque and sometimes a mixture of all three. He works in both traditional and computer media.
He studied Illustration and Art History at Pasadena Community College and received numerous awards for his talent. Originally a Illustrator/graphic designer for Giant Merchandising, he moved to Chico, CA in 2004 where he now resides and works for Fifth Sun Graphics.

My best friend turned me onto Munk One.
Definitely the best discovery this year! My old man and I had commissioned zombie portraits of ourselves and were completely blown away. As an artist, it was great to see how professional he is. Catch him while you can because he’s blowing up exponentially.
